Erasing Frank in the Sarajevo Film Festival’s Cinelink program

Georges Goldenstern of the Cannes Film Festival and the director of the Lithuanian Film Center will be judging the screenplays.

This year, 15 film projects were selected out of more than 100 projects from 20 European countries, which will present their projects to a well-known professional panel  at the  co-production market at the 24th Sarajevo Film Festival (August 10-17, 2018). This year, two Hungarian projects were selected: Gábor Fabricius’s film project, which most recently won prizes at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival and at the Vienna LET’S CEE International Film Festival, and Dénes Nagy’s film project entitled “Natural Light” will represent Hungary.

The panel of judges will award four valuable prizes, such as the 20,000 Euro EURIMAGES award, or the opportunity to participate in the EAVE producer training.

Beyond the competition, during the Cinelink Industry Days the creators will have further conversations with professionals and festival representatives from 25 European countries.

Fabricius is developing the screenplay for Erasing Frank with the support of the Hungarian National Film Fund.  This year, the project participated in the Midpoint Feature Launch and Sources2 screenplay development programs.
